Packages & Subscriptions
Packages bundle multiple services together at a discounted rate. Patients purchase a package and redeem sessions over time. Packages support single-centre or multi-centre usage and can be shared with family members.

Session Count | Total sessions in the package | 12 |

Centre Scope
Packages can be restricted to specific centres:
Scope | What It Means |
|---|---|
Single Centre | Package can only be redeemed at the centre where it was purchased |
Multi Centre | Package can be redeemed at any of the specified centres |
For multi-centre packages, the list of valid centres is defined when the package is created.
Shareable / Family Packages
When a package is marked as shareable, family members can use sessions from the same package:
- Family Head — The patient who purchased the package
- Max Family Members — Limit on how many family members can share the package (e.g. 4)
- Session Tracking — The system tracks which family member redeemed each session
Package Statuses
Status | What It Means |
|---|---|
Active | Package has remaining sessions and is within validity period |
Exhausted | All sessions have been used (validity may still be active) |
Expired | Validity period has passed, regardless of remaining sessions |
Manually Completed | Staff closed the package early (e.g. treatment plan changed) |
Cancelled | Package was cancelled — remaining sessions voided |
Session Redemption
When a patient uses a service from their package, a redemption is recorded:
- Which service was used and how many sessions consumed
- Which appointment the redemption is linked to (if applicable)
- Which family member used the session (if shareable package)
- Remaining sessions are decremented automatically
Voiding a Redemption
If a session was redeemed in error, it can be voided. Voiding restores the session count and records the reason and who approved the void.
Purchase & Activation
- Patient selects a package and makes payment
- Payment is processed through the payment system (order created)
- Package is activated with a start date (may be future-dated)
